Don't know why the new Waaaaaaaaaah thread was closed. Stargzr the Furious 6 have not posted in this thread and none of the people who have posted on the thread are friends with them and that is all I am going to say. I can say that my Waaaaaaaaaah thread was closed because one of the furious 6 and their buddy el Raton complained that I was picking on them in the thread. Being a mod is a very tough job here because no matter what you do someone gets mad that you did something. I have received threats, had threads started about me, been accused of harboring stealth vendors because nothing has been done about them, accused of being several other things because I have brought stealth vendors to the carpet, and many more things. We have rules and I followed them to the letter with no exceptions. Bottom line is that nobody is ever guilty of breaking the rules in their eyes and they take offense to moderation 99 percent of the time. If you have a problem and feel the moderator or moderators are not handling it to your liking the mod who mods the mods is [email protected]

Dubs: I believe you (or any member for that matter) are entitled to know why a thread/post was deleted, and I can imagine it is very frustrating to not know why! Perhaps it is to time consuming to do so? Idk, I'm just trying to find possible reasons why we are not told when/why posts/threads are deleted.
Perhaps the justification is, that it breaks/violates an existing rule?

When you support a site monetarily it goes towards the site being improved and or continuing. Why is it so wrong to think if I pay to help support the site I should not be entitled to at least having my suggestions listened to?

I am fully aware of what it costs to run a site such as MR but with a little digging I also have a pretty good idea of the revenue a site as large and
popular as this is can pull in.

I would be interested, as a supporter of the site monetarily to know how much is raised by do it's such as myself but that's obviously not going to happen.

At the end of the day it's simple. If it's gotten that bad here than pull your support if you currently contribute and take it to another site. Site traffic creates interest. Interest creates popularity. Popularity creates profits. Get the picture?

Nothing against the mods, but some of the infractions are unfair. I got an infraction without being told why and had to request to find out why. The reason was absurd...

Keep hope alive this thread has taken off like wildfire I too have had my posts deleted in the past booted off RC twice personally I would hate to see this forum ran like a bootcamp"RC". I know things in life aren't fair so with that said let's keep this thread going I say a vote on mods would be good but only allowed to those who support the forum

I think it was kathyc that always made me aware of my infractions or deleted/modified posts. I guess she is no longer part of the mods? I thought it was common practice and only the best way to handle it.
