This is what Ive been missing by not coming to the website for a few months... This just made my day. Give the Mods a negative feedback you think they delete those too...

Maybe it's because I'm new but I haven't had any issues with the mods. I have noticed that MR members violate MR rules with certain posts (it's obvious, but probably not apparent to the OP / member). It would be nice if the mod who deleted the thread had time to explain why a certain thread or post is deleted; but even this action would be too time consuming if the member had numerous infractions. Then again, it could be resolved by making the MR member aware of his conduct.
FYI, I believe the waaah thread was locked because the comments strayed from it's purpose (just go to page 1).
As someone else had mention, I would go to a forum where I am happy. But I would try to resolve this in a civil matter and contact a mod directly for advice/help.

I don't like the fact that they think that they can speak to you any kind of way yet as members there is a limit to what we can say. I also think that there are a number of "stealth vendors" that get away with murder because the are in with certain MODs. Don't get me wrong Ill buy coral from a blue bottomed baboon if the price is right but be proactive on your own personal postings and watch out the MR PO PO are out for blood.

Angler was sold a while ago, i got tired of having to take care of 3 tanks.

lol i have had my fair share of warnings over the years. and yes to a degree i felt i deserved it. But not for nothing and i like to consider myself a pretty fair person, but this whole thread is basically a attack on mods, your grouping them all together. Realistically just the way the thread is titled would have you banned on 99% of the other sites.

How many corals that are in others tanks dont mean anything. that would be like me saying well i got 20+ skimmers floating around this site. Does it matter ? Nope.

I have watched this site change so much over the last 9 years. That i seldom post much or answer anything. And funny thing most of us that have been around here for a long period of time dont post either. There's alot of experianced reefers on here on different levels.

But the run amock attitude, or that your owed something doesn't get anything solved.

Be glad im not a mod, and i dont think it is a power trip at all for most of the mods. I do believe certain people get away with more then other's and some i see why.

For the stealth vendor thing, thats a touchy subject. As someone who works for one of the vendors, thats a actual brick front. To see members posting up several thousand dollar threads several times a year and still not forced into a vendor status is beyond me. Alot of you get that jacket because of certain comments you make. It's not hard to see what alot of people are trying to do. In all honesty how many people really have a tank that over grown that they need a frag tank ? frag tank to me = trying to propagate to sell.

I do feel some things could be better. But throwing rocls at someone is not the way to get a positive reaction. Actions are discussed and figured out. They arent always a direct reply, but need ran by a couple people to figure out what is best for the site. Not whats best for you.

ok to make this clear this not just about what got deleted yesterday or a single post this been going on for 1.5 year now and i been asking for answer and y my posted got deleted/what i did wrong /etc and the mods don't have the decency to give me a answer i find it crazy my post can get delete in 5 min but i cant get a response for my wrong doing

i dont remember were u get thrown in jail with out a jury giving u ur wrong doing

You are not at all aware of the issues going on behind the scene. on top of that every person here is OWED an explanatiin when something that was written by them is altered or deleted. You, my friend, would love the same courtesy.

Please read about the entire issue before you post your opinions. We are trying to create good changes and we need to get the mods to atleast acknowledge it. Which this thread, which you class as throwing rocks, finally did.

With that say if you dont know whats going on refrain from giving your 2 cents.

I have had a few problems with certain mods and members on here. It's funny that I can go on to a site like RC where the rules are more strict there and not have any issues what so ever. A few members that are members here are no longer members on RC because they tried to pull some of the same BS over there that they get away with over here. It's funny that the mods on here can't see what the real problems are on here, because they are friendly with certain members.
