So of course when I had someone interested in purchasing my tank come over, my night time LED's weren't working. I haven't used them since I got the tank because I have the lights on a timer and they really only work manually. We played around with it and just couldn't get them to come on...

Mine did that all the time and it was really healthy, no worries.

Right now the game plan is to wash everything, bag up all unnecessary blankets, pillows, stuffed animals, etc. Powder and vacuum everyday. And we're taking the chins to the vet to get them revolution, which ought to solve the problem because eventually the fleas will be hungry and go to the...

Unfortunetly I've discovered fleas that Kevin's brother brought over. I've done the powder, but just don't know if it works. I want to leave the house with my chinchillas for the weekend and just drop a flea bomb. I just thought, however, that it might kill my fish! Any experience?

He actually appears to be doing well/stable. He's been carrying more things around on his head at least. And moving about.

My nitrates have also been a bit high at around 10. Haven't lost anyone in the tank though, infact everything seems to be thriving.

That happened to my friend's firefish, and my firefish had its entire backfin bitten off by somebody. Hers is fine, but mine ended up dying from stress. I'd be more worried about the others attacking it and it stressing out than the loss of a fin.

Yeah, mine does that. Perfectly normal.
