Tuxedo Urchin fading fast, help!

My favorite little urchin appears to not being doing well. Ever since I returned from Japan he has not been putting stuff on his head. Now, he's just taken up residence on top of a rock for the past two days and has a shrimp molt stuck on his head. His pretty blue stripes are dull and he appears to have lost a few spines. I love this little guy and am very worried, any help appreciated!!

Well, we gave him seaweed and little things to decorate his head and he seemed to perk up. I'm going to check my water perameters after lab today.

Unfortunatly I have found with urchins there is not much to be done if they look like they are going downhill. Good luck with the little guy.

Keep us updated, I am actually watching this, I hate to hear when someones buddies are doing bad

He actually appears to be doing well/stable. He's been carrying more things around on his head at least. And moving about.
