my hammer is crazyyy

my hammer corals are opening up and letting out a mucas type stuff what is it ive seen it before and they look healthy so what is it ??? are they just pooping or should i be worried???

no, but i aquascaped, and moved it!!! it looked really bad after then 20 minutes later looked better than it did, it is splitting itself also , so im not paniking right now

I think it just slimed over during your aquascaping and electrocutions. 8O Now that it feels safe to come out, it just has lots of leftover slime to get rid of.

It could be expelling some of its zooxanthellea or it could be expelling sperm either one from stress.

Mine did that all the time and it was really healthy, no worries.

my torch coral does the same thing once in a while and it is very healthy. i wouldnt worry either, mine has been growing for years.
