hey everyone im in the middle of setting up a 220 gallon tank, started to buy pendants for the tank, now these new led light fixture that are out with the t5s will this replace the mh completly ? or will i still need to run mh? and are these leds just as bright per say ass a 400mh? also i have a 30 inch deep tank woul this penetrate all the way down where i can keep clams, on sand bed or keep sps lower? i guess what im asking is am i limited to what i can keep in the tank?

Im curious on the same thing. Im setting up a 220 or 280 soon just seeing what can fit and i was considering pendants also.

The Pacificsun LED will give you a PAR of around 200 at 24". The 120W unit is equivalent to or more powerful than 400W MH. These are stand alone lights, no other lighting supplement is needed.

there are two new fixtures coming out:

a) Deimos

b) Phobos

depending on its size 36" 48" 72" it will have either 2 or 3 sets of LED modules plus T5 to supplement. more details to follow shortly.

Nice tank xavier, those led's are proving to be pretty potent. What are the tank dimensions and how high is the fixture above the water?

Hi
It's the ZeroEdge 22ZR. The small one. That's why I have the lamp so high (15-16" above the water level) and the power lamp at 70%.

grr...the past couple of days my moonlights havent come on! The sunset happens...and the moonlight intensity is currently at 6 and nothing...blackout...I mess with the moonlight intensity and still nothing...is there a problem with the software? Everytime I click the advanced panel and try to set something, it works, and then when I go back into the settings again later on all my advanced settings disappear...anyone else having this issue??

Anyone using the PAR program for simulated cloud cover?
I have my set for 10 points or 5x a day where it should power down to 50% then back to 100% 15 minutes later.
I can't get it right or it's not working properly. It will cycle down to the 50% at the set times but after a minute, it will cycle back to 100% instead of the 15 minutes. I am talking via email to Leszek about it but he's stumped too since he said that the program screen shot is correct.

Please Note that the lunar cycle will have a new moon every 28 days. That means no light! If you check moon cycle, the % you set above is the max light during the Full Moon. As the phases pass it will dim until you reach the new moon and then back up until the full moon.
