i have the 3gs and there is no update available josh, how did you get it?

yup i cant wait to get the iphone 4 i just got the 3gs on 5/16/10 and i love it i called at&t and complained and said you didnt hear any one that got a new contract from 5/6/10 till now can upgrade there phone and only have to pay the restocking fee which is $19.99 for the 16GB... NO PROBLEM
The IOS 4 software is not out yet, but you can jailbreak your 3g/3gs and put it on there. Lots of people have said good things
For those that say that this is not a major overhaul you are clearly mistaken. The phone has the most pixels and most advance lcd screen out of any phone on the market. The engineering and design in this product is second to none. Im not a big apple guy, but this is really an impressive piece of equiptment. Cant wait to get mine

If you have a developer account you can download the new OS as well as iTunes 9.2.
I used to have Verizon and now I have the iPhone. Never had any issues with service or coverage with either company. But the phones are hugely different.
With Verizon I had great service and a garbage selection of blah phones that I paid $100 every two years to replace, even though they were at the end of their life after a year.
With AT&T, I bought the 3gs last year. It is still an awesome phone in perfect shape. The beiggest difference though, I can sell it to pay for my upgrade to the 4.0 AND have money left over.
Sorry Verizon, you lost out.

can this be jail broken?
As per the dev team there is a functioning jailbreak and unlock for ios4 that is waiting for the iPhone release before they post it.
If they release before then Apple will be able to patch it.
Everything has been hacked. Sometimes it just takes a little longer to do it.

For those that dont know Sprint has a 2 year contract for the 4G service so no other company can use 4g untill there contract is up . Just like nextle when thay first came come they owned the contract for the 2 way . And the new dual core 1.5ghz android phones are going to be released soon you think the Iphone can compare to that.
Those new droids going to be on verizon?
