I have an iPhone 3GS and I think it sucks.

My spot is already a bad spot for all AT&T service to begin with and since I switched from a Samsung to it, I have dropped calls like never before. Not just my spot that gets me mad. It drops call even when I am walking in Main Street Flushing, 8th Avenue Brooklyn and Canal Street Manhattan. It also slowed down once a while just like I was using Windows 3.1 10 years ago and needed a reboot to clear the heap. I try to get an upgrade from AT&T and their auto system said I cannot switch until next year Dec. I bought the phone on mid April and the rep told me that I can upgrade when the 4 comes out without an issue-note that I asked him "should I wait til June/July when the 4 comes out." I upgraded most of the services the day I bought the phone. I cannot believe AT&T rep would sell me a false promise-I was to buy an iphone either way(3Gs or 4.) I was so upset that when they call me trying to sell me other upgrades, I refuse to take their calls.

I actually like the video ability of iPhone as the capacity is very high and that I can try the shaky camera, "flying carmera(I made up this term)" .... with ease. It's so small and lite compare to a std pro camcorder.

Never try a droid so no idea whether it is better than an iPhone or not.

Before you buy an iphone or decide on getting a smart phone if you never had one spend like an hour playing with someones phone or in the store. Whatever you feel comfy with is what you get. If you go android or iphone you won't be dissapointed either way.

And your getting screwed with the data package if you go iphone and ATT. Be prepared to spend alot of time searching for wifi spots or hooked up to your router at home when playing on it. The 2 gigs goes fast if your constantly browsing or playing internet games, and with moderate use you can easily go over the basic data plan.

The thing that i don't get is that ATT isn't going to be getting that much more $$ off the data plan than it is already after enough people realize how quickly those 2 gigs go. People are going to be smart and stick with wifi zones or hooked up to their home internet. Im sure its going to help with stresses on their network from all the data usage with all the new smartphones being used but other than that i don't see any benefits on their end.

I kept the unlimited data plan just because I can. But out of curiosity I went back and checked. I have never even come remotely close to using 2GB of data in a month.

You have to try very hard to use that much data. Rumor is verizon is doing away with unlimited data plans as well.

I love my iPhone and I havnt met an iPhone 4 owner that doesn't like it. All of the criticism comes from people who don't have one.

I really love the bumper. It is not big and bulky at all. I actually prefer it with the bumper on...and I have never used a case on a phone before because they usually make the phone bulky. This isn't the "case" at all with the bumper. My iPhone 4 with the bumper on is less bulky than my old iPhone naked.

I think everyone will be more than pleased with their bumpers. There is a three week wait right now but don't. get impatient and go for the griffen or belkin cases...they suck in comparison.

tosiek you work with 15 people who have poor signal with the iPhone? Verizon and Sprint phones get no signal at all in my building...it's all relative to location.

My 3GS was fast and that was when I was multitasking apps. Last week I was looking at my IT guys iPhone 3GS. It was running slow and was buggy, but he hadn't updated anything in months.

i upgraded from the original iphone 2G. It was the longest i ever kept a cell phone and never had any issues whatsoever. All other phones i have owned start to fall apart after a year or so.

Guess not.

It is pretty annoying.

Really only being because I can't get reefberrys.

People reefberry me thinking I'm "on" the site.. but I'm not. lol

Wonder if there is a way to create an app that would actually integrate the reefberry system..........

Times like this I wish I was going to school for software development instead of trying to become a doctor... hahaha.

Wingo...

Two options:

Plug the phone into your computer. Go to iTunes and press the button that says restore to original settings. I think it says "having problems restore to factory settings" or something similar to that.

Or

On iphone home screen.
Click "settings"
Then "general"
Then at the bottom of the list "reset," then "reset and erase all settings"
