watch the Mazda, If that engine goes they get expensive to fix. They are rotary engines.
100%...RX8 has motor problems!...if it's not under warranty, it will cost you a fortune...PLEASE NOTE I am a used car dealer/wholesaler and have personally bought and sold (myself...my $...no salespeople) over 10,000 used cars, as a matter of fact I picked up an '04 RX8 yesterday, with 46K...its at the Mazda dealer, now, to diagnose the engine and tranny problems.

Nycdominicanreef: I drive an 'O5 Cobalt LS Coupe. As stated earlier, not a fast car by any means, but it is a little fun and it was a good choice for my first job/first new car type of deal...

in a race, the civic will come in last everytime, visually the civic comes in last
350 vs rx-8
I think nissan is a better car OVERALL

I agree. On all accounts. Honda just can't be beat for reliability (especially over the course of 5-7 years).

It's hard to compare a $22K MSRP civic to a $33K MSRP Nissan.

I miss my Z dearly. My girl will still say it was the hottest car I ever owned. I will own another as soon as a garage becomes available.

Keith, what year was your Z? How long did you have it for?
I found a few that will fit my price requirements. Let's hope it actually works out.

Mine was a 1991. I had a lot of work done. Custom leather interior, a lot of engine and suspension work, body kit, etc..

I bought it from a rocket scientist down at Cape Canaveral I only had it for a few years, but I broke even when I sold her.

I've worked on my old room-mates G35. Tight car to work on. I had to drop a whole under-car pan to get to the back of the motor.

My next Z will be vintage. 260Z, maybe a 69 fairlady. An S13 or S14 is also on my short list.

Keith had the 300Z not the newer 350z, they are now called 370z. Mine was an 06 and was a blast to drive, not great in snow at all they are rear wheel drive.

True. I had my 300Z before the 350Z came out. The 350 and 370 are even better than the old 300's (although the lack of a stock turbo make major HP boosts more costly).

Tomorrow is looking like it wilk be test drive day, so I want to build my list.

Here's the first few:

-Nissan 350z.
-Mazda RX-8.
-VW Gti (don't really want this car, but my fiancee wants to test drive a
Jetta so I may as well).
-Honda Civic Si.

the s2k i pictured was mine, the Z is my brothers. if i had to pick from the 2, i would prob take the z since its a 6 banger. what about a 3 series? if i were you i'd go with a used g35 6speed. 305 horses baby, plus the luxury of an infiniti. personally i would not go with the rx8 its underpowered imo.. GTI is eh might as well find a used r32. lol screw the civic. go test drive a s2k i guarantee that you'll love driving it. WHITE WITH RED LEATHER!!!

HAHAHa they stopped making those magnums, Keith my buddy has a new 370 with a trubo(aftermarket) that car flies. The G35 has the same engine as the 350Z as well as the the 370Z and G37. The infiniti does look nicer though
