Anthrax is also present in the lab. My mask is MUCH better than the one that you would use!

yeah, I hope so. nothing like anthrax to keep you on your toes.
space suit or not I don't think I'd want to work in the BL4 lab.

the best part is, you'd think a guy working with all these hazardous agents would at least get to work well rested and not on 45 minutes of sleep. nothing like dozing off on your desk to wake up realizing you fell asleep in the anthrax.

Not to scare anybody, but you wouldn't want a guy like me on the BAD GUYS side. It is too scary to imagine the possibilities! I am extremely glad that biological weapons are considered off limits by all!

Anthrax doesn't scare me!! ;) It is the multidrug resistant tuberculosis that has no cure that scares me. Besides, rolling around with liters of dangerous bacteria is fun! :D

House of Ha,

The more I learn about you the weider it gets. Besides being the "other J Curry, I also went to Pratt for Architecture & graduated in '92. I used to be into cycling big time as well although BMX not road racing. Did you know that Terry Seigel taught english at Pratt? I had him for one semester but luckily I didn't know about his tank or I probbably would have changed professions. As PMUI said earlier there is much money in architecture but it is very rewarding.

I'll contribute too. I'm a senior resident in Internal Medicine and hoping to start in Cardiology next year. I sympathize w/ you Shaun. I can't remember the last time i wasn't studying anything.
Even my tank is like an ongoing experiment just like you said. I also do scale models whenever i have time. I was also into PC games at some point. I started in the hobby originally 6-7 years ago in Manila. I got to see the wholesalers stores back there as well as visit the places where they collect their livestock. Too bad I haven't seen half the stuff/fish i used to put in my tank here in the States. :(

I work for NBC in network/broadcast engineering. Fun work, good travel, and I get to ride the elevators with the SNL cast and the weekly guests (riding the elevator with Donald Trump is an experience).

For fun I DJ, scubadive, work on home automation/entertainment projects, and take care of 3 abyssinian cats (they are like 4 year old children). I'm also a pretty big wine buff and am currently trying to "complete" the 2005 Zagats.

I am a hair colorist in a salon in Manhattan. I do Tv, Film, and Magazine work. My work can currently be seen around Ny, in the Suave campain ads. I have been on MTV, Today show and Fahion Emergency. I have a small, loyal celebrity following. I never gossip about my clients so dont ask
I am an avid gamer, Xbox, PC, Gamecube and PSP. I also build my own rigs and have a Shuttle system hooked to a 50 inch plasma.....now thats gameing!
I have two cats, Buzz and Lucy, and my Reef tank.
My drink list is.....Sake (great buzz, no hangover)..Cosmo(i know) made with Absolute Mandarin and just a little cranberry (great buzz, big hangover) and any really cold beer in the summer. I live in the financial district in an old office building, converted to apts.
I go to Hawaii every summer and come back and tell everyone i learned to surf (lie).
I work my ass off. Im very laid back and would rather hang out all day in dirty clothes then go somewhere.ummm....what else......thats it!

lol... reading the 8 pages of replies while playing with my two daughters was a challenge, but well worth it, some funny stuff. I have a 2.5 year old and a 4 month old (CONGRATS JIM!)...

Born in Buffalo and went to college in Michigan (go blue). Deferred medical school for a few years while starting an interactive ad agency back in 95. Decided not to go to med school and stick with advertising. Sold the company in 1999 to Grey Advertising and moved to NYC to lead the acquisition.

Been living in Park Slope ever since and still with the same firm, as the managing director... just had my 10 yr anniversary. I love digital marketing almost as much as my reef tank.

I have a 100 gallon corner bow front that is framed out with a brushed steel canopy and base. It is without a doubt the coolest thing in my house... and i must admit i love my high tech gadgets but the whole family loves the tank and my bank account suffers from it! My older daughter knows all of the fish stores in Brooklyn by name!

next to my kids, wife, tank and work (and not necessarily in that order!!!), I love to drink. I have an addiction to single malt, bourbon and good wine.

Alright, time to take the kids to the zoo.
