here are the parts i bought tonite

this is everything i bought to get the internal overflow for when i get the tank drilled next week.

also in addition to the pics below i also purchased the 2 10' 1" pvc pipes..

all for under $13.00

is the glue and primer only good for the outside the tank pvc..

the gasket thats on the bulkhead does it go in the inside or outside of the tank...

thanks in advance...

The primer and pvc cement can go in tank. Do the outside stuff first, so you get practice with the primer. If you can make it neat and clean it'll look better when you see it inside your tank. Outside, in the back, who cares what it looks like. The primer is like Minwax Stain, it sort of has a life of its own and gets all over everything.

Put the gasket on the inside of the tank.

im gonna have the tank running with reg. freshwater for at least a day or 2 to ensure everything is good and no leaks.. ummm should i silicone the bulkhead 2.. or just the gasket, teflon tape and enough tightening should do the trick... thanks again

Here is the ASM G3 Skimmer it is huge.......

here ya go guys just showing a pic of the Asm g3 skimmer just got it today... the only thing that sucks i cant even hook it up... :mad: but tank should be on its way soon..

also waiting for the gate valve mod kit which is on its way...

Place it in the tub and run it for a few hours in freshwater to remove manufacturing residue; it'll help shorten the break-in period once it hits saltwater.
