wait there are 3 baffles on the right.. kris what are you doing.......... there was supposed to be 1 baffle on the right. and i see the flow restrictions valves.. thanks..
Getting closer Kris. Tony, I agree with Rich about the gate valve to the fuge. But whenever I use a gate valve, I ALWAYS use a ball valve with it. This way if I have to isolate that line, I don't have to shut the gate valve which is always very fine tuned. All I do is shut the ball valve off completely and leave the gate alone.
Also, the fuge baffle should go higher in the sump. If you have the ability to rout teeth into the fuge baffle, you'll keep the macros out of the return pump chamber. Adding another baffle won't keep the macros from flowing over then under.
No valve on the overflow to the skimmer. Or if you do put one there, DO NOT DIAL IT DOWN. You never want to restrict overflow. Always adjust flow from the return, not overflow.
i was thinking about putting a flow valve on the pump return.. i think thats a good idea and easy enough.. yea wouldnt i want the most flow as possible from my overflow.. just a way to close it incase of emergency
yea me 2 got work at 8am... yayyyyyy. but then i go pick up a coral at reef fantasies anything for 30.00 new addition comming tom. something really lime green or pink.... i cant wait.
guys were getting a little carried away here... lolz this needs to be as easy as possible... lolz u want teeth here and extra valves here and there.. lolz im jokin. thanks for all ya help.. i appreciate you and everyone taking there time out to help me out..
