Perfectionist and smart too. Tony knows there might, just might, maybe be just one drop of water that spills. So at least it drips onto the tile, not carpet. But that one drop PROBABLY won't even spill.......right Tony :yo:

here are the pics of the stand me and the pops have been building.. on 2/20/06 the sides top and bottom plywoods are going to get screwed in.. the front will be cut for the doors and then trim put on and then painted.. almost done with that... what do u guys think so far..

the 1st pic is what i drew to get an idea of what i wanted to do (by the way i changed the measurments up so dont go by them.......)

Looks nice Tony. If you don't mind me making a suggestion though. I'm glad I caught you at this stage, no harm done.

When you attach your bracing (you have them drawn in horizontal), attach them at 45 degrees. Top of one corner to the bottom of the opposite corner. Otherwise, the way you have it, the stand can still rack (twist).

if i could suggest something also is to try to remove the front center brace. I think you could easily add one or two 2x4 on top to make it not bow and have an open front.

its alot easily in the future if you want ot upgrade sump, equipment, etc..

here is the skimmer running in freshwater a second time just to make sure all bad stuff gets washed away never can be too safe...


and a pic of my mag 9.5 after a freshwater test run.. (pretty powerful for a small pump...
