thanks guys i think the torch is in an ok place. it has medium flow and the lights pretty strong. plus its reallly secure. tell me if im making a mistake

I happen to like where you placed the Torch. It looks great right there. If the Torch doesn't like it's placing it will let you know. I love your tank, it is the perfect size for a bedroom show case.

thanks so much! the clown is settling down now. hes shown no interest in the torch, but i hope he will come to host it. ive started to dose a 2part, i think ill see more growth that way. and today lunch is going to be cyclopeez. yum yum yum. i didnt want to get a scooter blenny because i have bonded too much with my pods lol.

thanks i use the canon 400d (digital rebel xti)
the lens is an old sigma minizoom macro 20-90mm or something like that.

great job so far! the tanks looks very clean and clear. its nice seeing younger reefers doing things right. the rocks have good corraline growth on them, which is a minor success in itself.

my tank is broken. it all started a few weeks ago when i got back from vacation. i noticed that my tank lights were out in the middle of the day so i checked the timer. it stopped at 1 am. so i turn it to the right time and every day it stops at 1 am. so i turn off the timer. a week later, like a few days ago, i come home from babysitting and the lights are out like they should be at that time of night, but the moonlights arent really bright. half of the tank is dimly lit up. when i do something to the control panel like turn pumps on/off etc. the moonlights surge and then they become dim again. i use the moonlights when i have the lights on during the day and they are brighter then. im going to have it checked out soon. whats happening. i was thinking i need to replace the bulbs but i think the problems are connected in some way.

Sounds like a short. Call red sea and or the place you bought the tank (GA right) and tell them what's going on?

oh, and is it ok to not have moonlights on at night, or should i buy some of those seperate ones to hang on the tank temporarily. worst case scenario is that ill have to get a new hood, unless theyres something wrong with the plugs or something then i need a new system. how annoying.

moonlights are more for you than anything else. having them off won't hurt the tank.

Hey Emily, if it's a bad enough short you could also burn the house down. Call them and tell them what's going on. Red Sea first.

i dont know whats going on with my torch. one of its branches closed up.:dead1: the rest of it looks fine. i checked to see where justin timberlake was. hes fine, i was afraid the torch ate him. checked tankmates, everyones fine. did it eat something. i have to take some tests tonight. all other corals and fish are fine. ill put in a little cyclop-eeze and see what it does. maybe its hungry
