ok here is an update everything is clearing up and guess what i have nitrites :) ammonia is at 4.0 which means the ammonia was def. higher then that and my nitrites are at .50 :biggrin: :party: by this weekend i should have nitrates i hope ;)

and a few pics of my puppy jack. hes becoming an awesome dog just needs alot more training but already responds to his name and come. he sits after i push his but a little down lol hes getting there... i bought him to the vet today the doc gave him a distemper shot and a lime shot. checked everything out, a stool sample and his hips, ears, eyes and says he 100% healthy THANKGOD... i love my lil jack :)

he also did a lil boxing today which i found really amusing he was doing that with the vets assistant :lol2:

I gotta say hanna phosphate reader and salifert are exactly the same readings..
I got a .51 readin on the hanna a few days ago

My guess is to take the shrimp out of the tank or should i leave them in. They where 2 jumbo shrimps.

thanks anthony. I jus did that and disposed of the shrimp. ammonia is pretty high so im sure there should be enough ammonia for the bacteria to feed off of. im hoping cycle should be done on friday or sunday this week we will see... when the ammonia is fallin down then add a pinch of food?
