ok here is an update everything is clearing up and guess what i have nitrites ammonia is at 4.0 which means the ammonia was def. higher then that and my nitrites are at .50   by this weekend i should have nitrates i hope
and a few pics of my puppy jack. hes becoming an awesome dog just needs alot more training but already responds to his name and come. he sits after i push his but a little down lol hes getting there... i bought him to the vet today the doc gave him a distemper shot and a lime shot. checked everything out, a stool sample and his hips, ears, eyes and says he 100% healthy THANKGOD... i love my lil jack
he also did a lil boxing today which i found really amusing he was doing that with the vets assistant :lol2:
Hey guys when should the skimmer be turned on. When nitrites are 0 and i have nitrates also after the water change. 20 % water change should be enough when nitrites are gone and nitrates are up?
Take them out.. you have enough now.. But i would just drop a small amount of food into the tank, but that is just me. You need to keep the bacteria fed
thanks anthony. I jus did that and disposed of the shrimp. ammonia is pretty high so im sure there should be enough ammonia for the bacteria to feed off of. im hoping cycle should be done on friday or sunday this week we will see... when the ammonia is fallin down then add a pinch of food?
Now to decide what to get for fish before the tank is ready. Was thinking of starting with 3 blue chromis. I was gonna get 2 clowns but was thinking to add them last
