lol i no exotic. it seemed like it took forever for me but its finally done now to get this cycle done and add my 1st fishies

Tiny special blend by itself is not the best way to cycle the tank. It is more for waste control and detritus breakdown after cycling is complete. Want a great way to cycle? Go to the supermarket/fish store and grab 1-2 jumbo shrimp. Take 1 of your wife's old knee-hi's ( don't put them on ) and toss them in it. Tie a know and drop it in the tank. You can also ace them in a filter sick if your running one. Watch your ammonia take off. The special blend will help but Wong cycle your tank.

Bobby i used ammonia to kick it off an the shrimp to keep the bacteria happy after cycle is complete. But ie used the shrimp method in my 1st tank and then added live rock

I don't care what people say I would never pour ammonia in a tank that is going to house fish and coral in the future
Just wait for the natural way jmo

Ammonia is ammonia jerl. Your fishes put out the same stuff as lon as there nothing else in the bottle. All that was in mine was ammonia and purified water
