T, somehow you've got to protect your electrical components from splashes. Nice job with cord management, I just don't want to hear of anything getting fried because of water seepage. Even when you do typical tank maintenance you're going to have water drip off your arm.

An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.......

I would not put those inside the stand like someone else suggested.

Short of building a panel located away from the tank you are stuck with tacking all that stuff onto the side or rear of the cabinet like you did. It came out pretty good though, far better then I expected or if I had to add all those things to the outside of my cabinet.

I would however do some brainstorming on how to extend a lip over that side and rear to prevent splashes or creep from getting on anything.

Great thread, very excited for you, sent you a PM on hysteresis that I do not personally use on my Apex.

Tony your dad built the stand right? If so have him build you a small box w a nice door you can mount to the side to keep the electronics in. It could easily be made to blend in with the stand. No way I would want that stuff on the side exposed like that, especially below tank level unprotected. You would be amazed how much water drips while performing regular maintenance and a rimless is worse.
