when i purchased my pair of emerold crabs the guy at the lfs mentioned that they eat coriline,but not much.this morning i woke to find one munching on some coriline,quite proficiantly I might add.I am one of those people that fight for coriline coverage ,it dosent come real eaisy in my tanks...

The've lasted about 2 years,one of the dual ballasts fan does make noise that stops when you smack it.It has the waterproof endcaps now ,but they have dried out and crack in some places when you flex them.they have been alright and ill have to look at there longevity level versus endcap...

evrything looks good except the end cap and the now melted pin on the bulb

one of my endcaps melted on my jbj 55 watt pc.It also took out one of my 2 month old csl 50/50's pins.Should i try and splice a new one on.any suggestions

i think maybee he has reached the point of trade in time,,,,,his fin is growing rapidly at this stage ,,,now ill have to catch him,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,my flame angel is going to cop a major atttitude with out the sailfin to keep him in check

i had good luck with marine depot,,,it was basic walt smith rock,,delt with waylen and evrything turned out great,,,would do again ,,there are two different collor of boxes that come from walt smith the brown ,and the white ,,white being his premium.......if this helps any ,,....think ahead to...

from my experiance ,,i would keep your sailfin ,,it will give you years of trouble free life and pleasurable viewing,,,,My sailfin has been my most hardy fish,always ready with a good morning,,,,I think yellows are a bit more sucseptable to dieses,,and given time i bet the sailfin would at least...

I currently have a t-4 and it introduces way to much heat,,,,midnight no lights on and bam on comes your chiller just due to your return pump,,,,next pump please ,,,,,,my t-1 was hot to the tuch as well,,,,,,,,,,,,,......my next pump will definatly be a iwasaki,,,,,,,,,,,there are two moddels...
