Ditto! Or, I have been told that taking a piece of pvc, wrapping the sheet of nori around it and holding it in place with a criss crossed rubber band does the trick. With the pvc, you can even wedge itin your clip so you dont have to reach down to the bottom of the tank to grab the LR and strap...

What did you want to keep in the tank? The lighting may not be adequate for some corals... When I cured my live rock, I left the skimmer running all the time. I dont see why you wouldnt...

Some screws are supposed to be rust resistant and are used for making decks and such. I'd prefer screws in a tank stand personally. You can always paint the stand with a marine paint (water resistant) and/or put silicone over the screw heads to help avoid rust. HTH

I dunno... I added more sand without removing my livestock and had no problems. Tank was cloudy for a bit, no fish seemed to mind. I had to use a turkey baster to blow some sand off the LR and corals, but they didnt seem to mind either....
