even if you could afford a car and could afford the tolls and could afford the gas, you'll never be able to afford the parking (unless you give up your reef)

Driving is a package deal. Insurance gas etc and parking. If you cant afford parking,you cant afford to have a car. then people should rethink their lifestyle.

Thats like having a full blown reef and not being able to afford the electricity cost.

I personally have a car but I hate driving in NYC so I relocated and changed my life to make it easy for public transportation. Now I have a choice!!!!

When you paid 60% taxes wasn't that in switzerland, where your child university is paid for, a woman who has given birth recieves her paycheck for 2 years from the govnt so she can actually raise her kid, and correct me if I'm wrong free healthcare for all.

Its true. I have to admit, despite crazy ass taxes etc - life there is good. The system works!! But there are whiners there also. Just healthy whiners who live in nice public housing and attend university even though they are 50 cause you get paid to be educated. God, I hate those people.

haha....can't pull a fast one on ol DRE ...thats so damn cool man. Bad thing is whenever I think of Switzerland, I think of crappy IKEA furniture and cold/white/barren landscape. Not to mention there is not much in the way of ethnic diversity. Which I actually very much enjoy meeting/experiencing.

All the rich people from all around the world are there all the time to take care of banking. You want ethnic diversity, go to Switzerland. There is not much for economic diversity though.

They dont tell you where you go to school. You have a choice in everything. The govt pays you to go to school. There are plently of ways to make money. .....Switzerland... Alot or European money ends up there with just numbers attached and no names.

Its a good place. Its definitely nice to know that you have help no matter what. Sickness, poverty etc.

NJ - long story. I used to live in a loft all the way downtown on water street and one day 9/11 we got smoked out evacuated etc so we moved into one of my wifes aunts apartment in West New York. I fell in love with the view of NYC Its amazing. I get to the port authority in max 10 mins from my place. I bought a house and have a yard overlooking the entire city. And the taxes here are peanuts man. Ciggarettes are cheap as is everything else. I like to think of it as the best of both worlds. That is the short version of the story.

OK guys ,,i went to the gas station last nite and this morning ,,what the hell,,,it was 3.05 last nite ,3/10 this morning and 3.30 this aftre noon ,,what is going on ,,we are getting screwed up the azz,,,when does this stop ,if i kept raises prices like this in plumber i would ne looking for another jos ,,
how f&^%ed up are the prices,,labor day lets raise gas 40 more cent the public will pay ,what stopped them from raising the gas to 5 or 6 bux a gal ,its sems like ther eis no law pn raising gas prices ,try as a landloard to raise rent 30 percent see what happens,,,court ,lawyers ,and so on ,,,i cant keep filling up my tank for 50 bux on my car thats crazy ,,who has a big truck so i can siphon there gas out ,,lol...
waiting to see what price it will go up too ,,so far the most ive seen it is 4.00 bux a gal for super ..

Hey, What's wrong with NJ??? At least we don't have to pump our own gas. ; ) And after driving to Kris's house to pick up some corals, I can say I am happy not to have to pay those tolls on tunnels and bridges every day.
