I beat the crap out of the Bass today Used live bunker in Jamaica bay

Caught my first keeper form the season Saturday only 34 in.

Boat? Nah.....I'm strictly a shore fisherman. Have a tiny boat, and catch nothing on it. Can't afford a real boat....besides, I love walking around as I fish, wading in the water...Take care, Eric

Great Kills is an awesome surf spot, especially this time of year. Nice fish Bob. I'm guessing that fish is 28-30lbs??? Am I close?

I'm trying to see if I can post pictures....using Imageshack...These are from last fall (only have a bucket of bunker to show for this year). The striper was caught in October...my son and I took a charter out of Orient...this was the largest, at 33 lbs....of the 4 bass we caught, the smallest was 20 lbs. The bluefish was caught in November at McCabes Beach, Southold...8 lbs. I'm irregularly out there until summer...but if people are interested in a day out there in the spring or fall, it would be fun to go out....I don't have a car though....(my son has it, and I'm a real lousy driver anyway)...Take care, Eric
