Let me remind you, I don't live in the city. I'm actually about a half hour from PA! And this is what it looks like in our town. We are still in state of emergency...

I spoke with Kathy earlier in the day and she got very lucky and didn't lose power and her house and boat weren't too badly damaged. Very close by was in much worse shape.

I will write something up later on regarding our time spent with Irene (#$^&*), but for now will say the tanks are doing great (Yippee!!!!!!) and all of my critters are doing well :sigh: <--of relief!
Much to clean up here, time for me to get started, another long day...

My best wishes to anyone still without power, please see the Emergency Measures thread at the top of the forum, there are tons of great ideas in there to keep your tanks going that don't require electricity.
Remember - the most important thing is to keep the tank oxygenated!!!

My tank is fine except for 2 angels.;( The lamarck & flame are missing! Guess I got home in the nic of time for the others. At least I still have my favorite angel (Majestic Angel which I've had since 12/2010) as well as the others.
Unfortunately I do not see any of my koi.;( Cleaned out all the debri out of the pond, fed them, and sat to wait. Neither of them came up to eat.waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah

Still pumping water out of the basement, and the pool pump came on today loud as never before. So one more thing to add to the list to fix or replace.arrrrgggg Thanks Irene.

Wow! I lost power and my Brand New Generator Crapped out! Me and my wife were bailing out the basement. Just able to keep up with the water before it flooded my finished basement. Luckily my brother in law brought his over for me.

Wow.

Catskill and Margaretville is so flooded as shown in abcNews and my friend's video- a bridge and a small town is completely under water. We had a music festival there last time. We bought supplies from the store shown in the video with 16 feet water!

Yeah JRP73 Pomton lakes is gonna beat there all time recond by more than a foot is the prediction. I think it crests tommorow.

Thirty5 i cant figure out why the people didnt move those 2 cars in the first pic they had all the chance i drove by when the water was coming up and they didnt move them. Can you beleive floyd was 16 inches higher i thought this was higher until i went out to do some repairs and and one customer showed me the mark on the wall from floyd.
