my stand for my 225 acrylic tank is bigger than my tank. the legs dont sit directly under the perimeter of the tank. how can i reinforce the stand so i dont have problems. i was thinking maybe adding some 2X4 's or 4X4's underneath. Suggestions. :cry:

i looked for a year for any sd in az. finally i got in on a pallet deal of pure aragonite with a group of reefers out here in eary july. it came to 18.50 a bag. never seen sd out here and never heard of anyone finding it.

Where do you see the refractometers at north coast for 65.00? I can only find them for 80.00.

I just received my lifereef skimmer but dont have it set up yet. As far as quality and sturdiness i would definitely get another. I'm sure you wont be dissappointed if you get one.

How many gph do i need for a return on 2 !' overflow drains? I know i have to calculate for head loss, but what is the gph of drainage for each 1" drain?

How many galons per hour do i need to pump to keep up with 2 1" overflows?

Thanks for the reply, i guess i looked into it too deep. Just like you said, i would like to pump enough to be able to handle their max draining ability.
