Jarrett, very nice pond. This is my pond, (still kind of unattractive) I have a few pond fish in it, plus a gigantic snapping turtle, which we think came from a neighbor's pond to my pond.....haha...

this is the best picture i have even though you cant see the whole thing. im the one on the left .its not natural because its on the top of a mountain so the hole was dug by a backhoe then we ran about 500 feet of 4 inch pip up the stream going up the mountain which also feeds the house with water and almost every time we go up there theres a leak and every winter it breaks and we have to replace about 300 feet so yea its alot to maintain but its a constant water change because at the other end of the pond theres a hole with another pipe that leads back down the the stream. its approximately 800,000 gallons and has frogs, salamanders, trout and there was once a turtle in there. all the animals came natural exept the trout which we get a shipment of about 150 every 5 or 6 years.

cool idea, but its gona be a full time job taking care of a 2000 gallon system.

We already cant swim in there cause of that turtle..there might be more in there too...The only cool thing is that it makes a cool ice skating rink.

Yes, firstly we have to concentrate on getting this house done...so I can have heat (Anthony knows what Im talking about). And I cant even estimate when this "mini ocean" will happen.

Seriously I can only imagine how much you'll spend monthly for supplements, coned bills, prefilters for RO hehe, that's so crazy idea but good luck with your project.
Build reef tank then you can sale some tickets for visitors to get some founds back
