sorry guys for not updating this thread, well so far so good (knock on wood) i have been thinking of re doing my rock work and also taking half of my sand out (450 lbs).

Hey Richie, If you are serious about rearranging your tank let me know, Ill definitely lend a hand. We have to figure a way to remove the sand without releasing all that sulfur from the sandbed. I know you have been planning this for quite a while. LMK

you need more fish richie....lol. the joculator looks awesome.....very envious!!!

removing all the sand would be easier than half. if you're gonna re-arrange everything, i say shopvac all the sand out, rinse what you're gonna use and put back. you'll get some cycling but a few bottles of amquel+ should hold down the ammonia, nitrites, and nitrates.

count me in if it's on a sunday....have shopvac...will travel....lol
