Time for a BIG photo update.
The major changes since the beginning of the year is in salt mixes and in dosing of a variety of
Brightwell products. I changed from Tropic Marin Pro Reef (TMpr) to Oceanic (O) with unfavorable results. Since March, I'm using a mixture of the two salts in a 2:3, TMpr:O ratio with better success. The following Brightwell products are currently being manually dosed nightly: MicroBacter7, Reef Biofuel, KoralColor, Potassion, CoralAmino, Iodion, Vitamin C, PhytoChrome, Zooplanktos-M, Microvore, and Reef Snow. I have, but contemplating the usage of Restor and R?plenish.
Coral polyp extension and growth have been phenomenal and overall water parameters are stable. I have removed the majority of the fish and have a few in mind to replace them in the near future. Skimmer is off at night. Future plans include an upgrade to a slightly wider and taller Starphire tank. A UV sterilizer have been purchased will be running on the same timer as the skimmer.
