Just moved in - My 16g bowfront Nano!

Thats it for now- will be posting updated tank shots periodically (proabably need to add one now, since everything looks much better and the Frogspawn is in). Hopefully will be getting a Firefish and Yellow Watchman Goby over the next few weeks while letting the corals grow out more and saving some $$$... keep you all posted! B)
Oops- one more, thought you might be interested to see the new crab I found tonight...its the little white thing in the middle of the algae upper center...thought it was neat to see something taking care of the only patch of hair algae there!

It's funny how mean they look- like they are trying to make up for being so dainty!
I got the blasto at www.platinumreefs.com - IMHO the best place to get premium coral pieces (you pay for them- but they are awesome!). You should see the nice stuff Dennis has- he was just a hobbiest like all of us, but has really taken it to the next level! Great guy to deal with too.
I got my eagle eyes, tiger eyes, blasto, green and blue shrooms there. Wish my lighting showed them off bettter- will work on that in the future...
Finally think my tank is looking the way I had planned- still need two 'center pieces' (thinking red open brain and some other colorful LPS)- but will prob. wait for a bit before getting any and let my tank grow in a little (prob will get from Dennis- and try to set up a group buy).
btw- xenia is crazy! good thing my hermits seem to eat the bits that get sucked up into my aquaclear- I found a small head growing on the opposite side of my tank, after gettting sucked up and chopped to bits!
Hermits and/or snails are reproducing like crazy in my tank- pretty cool.
Read a ton of posts on Reef Central and I now am thinking about getting a CA and am alk buffer to bring those to the correct levels in my tank- then supplementing with my A&B two part buffer when both are off from 'normal' levels. I do a weekly 5-10% water change, but my Calcium levels are always much lower than I want it to be at (around 300 ppm instead of 425ppm). Iodine is also barely noticeable- but the Kent Nano A&B has a slightly increased amount of Iodine added to compensate for the difficulties of dosing Iodine in a nano tank- have to wait for my finances to level out again after my recent purchases, so won't be dosing for a while still.
