Vance, That is Pavona maldivensis and it is proving pretty tough to keep. Lower light seems best.

that's good to know. by chance I had mine on the bottom in the shadows of a mili colony. it was on the bottom in full light but it did not look happy. I thought indirect light might perk it up :)

some new additions

I've slowly been making room for new coral. I gave some colonies away, and sold some stuff at the westchester mini swap.

These are a few new things I picked up at greenwich aquaria this week.

what I think is Acropora Cardus, a bottle brush acro.

color update

so I added some more fish the no3 is up, about 2-5 pt's po4 is down, and the ultramin s is working. I boosted the dose to 4ml a day, that is also because of the added 30 gallons of cbb tank next to the display.

wheres an updated pic of the suharsonai?

it's behind a few things and is hard to get a shot of, I'll try.

it has grown a little bit and turned a very slight shade of green.

I think it gives the purple monster a run for it's money as a slow growing coral.
