sanjay.. this is the first time im seeing this thread, all i can say is WOW from the fist pics of the 1 yr thru now.. i look forward to meeting you at the swap, hopefully your not gonna be too busy id love to ask you a few questions abt how you were able to get suck amaizing growth... i didnt seem to get how, what are the parameters you kept the water at, whats the most important piece of eqiiptment in your system.. and what would you consider the biggest part of your growth.. ive never seen results like this ever.... ive seen some awsome systems with the best of everything and not get half the growth as you did...

Stunning tank, thanks for all the information....are the Giesemann lamps the 12.5K ones? If so, how do you personally rate them?

The lamps I was using were the Giesmann Coral which are close to 14K. This time around I switched to Ushio 14Ks in January. Very similar to the Giesmann lamps. I like both the Giesmann and the Ushio 14Ks.

What is the distance from the vortech on the back wall to the nearest SPS head?

What mode and intensity is it on? Do you have any issues with direct flow on the SPS?

I have the Vortechs running in pulse mode. They can easily impact the shape of the corals almost 10-12" away. I have several branches of corals where you can easily see the impact - funky growth. If they were on full blast all the time, those corals would have loss of tissue.
