Do yourself a favor and get a slightly larger pot and strainer than they recommend though.
You have a lot of (new) panty hose just laying around, Beer?
Or go to Home Depot and get a paint straining bag. I've even used (new) panty hose in a pinch.

I started about 2 years ago (with beerfish, actually,) and now I brew all grain (mostly.) If I ever have some free time I'm going to build an electric brew setup and get away from the stove.
