Santana is their best pitcher,Reyes will be out for a while,No Delgado at first.Perez is hit or miss so not likely the Mets will contend.I do like Wright however.

The mets arent going anywhere for the following reasons: and before anyone getsall excited, take a breath and be realistic, whether you're a mets fan or not
1. Santana pitches 1 every 5 days
2.Maine is coming back from injury
3.Perez is one of the most overpaid bums in he league(12M/yr)
4.Delgado is a big bat, whos replacing him.
5. Whos their catcher?
6. They have NO PROSPECTS, we saw them all last yr, NOTHING IMPRESSIVE

I'm not trashing the mets, I'm being realistic. I HATE THE PHILLIES, Nothing would make me happier than seeing jimmy rollins (hands down cockiest player in the league) tear his ACL in the season opener.
But honest have you seen the phillies roster, before you call me a met hater. Look at the points i made earlier in this thread, ask yourself those questions and get back to me.

Mets have some promising prospects. Just that they're not ready for the Big League. It's possible for them to take a wild card this year, but I don't believe they'll get far in the post season. Next year or two should open up for them.
