Here are 3 of my toys, The 2004 convertable was picked up today. The white one is up for sale now. 89 with 59,000 miles on it. Just added new injectors. The 81 is getting repainted soon, I know it looks like crap, but I left it out for about 5 years neglecting it. It has only 27,000 miles on it.

I don't know, mine is so fast the paint started to shed off the car lol. I tell you this though, Driving the 3 different vettes are like night and day. It's hard to even imagine the 04 is in the same family as the 81. The drive is so much nicer and smoother

It's going to be the original color, you can kinda still see it on the doors and lower fender. It is more of a charcoal gray. The one problem is that it needs a new gel coat. They do a resin coat now I guess it holds up better. To take it apart is about a 10grand job. If I do all the hard work and get it primed and ready for paint they will do it for 1500, not taken apart. The only problem with that is I have a 64 beetle in the middle of a resto taking up half the garage and the new vette will be on the other side.

Ryan all vettes will not rust or get dings or dents. They are made of fiberglass and will crack or scratch but never rust. The paint is coming off the car because well it is almost 30 years old and is the original paint and I negelcted the car.

yeah geeze 2 grand a race... i would be confident in my car but usuall what are these people bringing to the races 10 second cars? around my house in sussex all we get a faggy kids with there civic hatchbacks or old vw gtis farting down my road which is a main road on Route 565. i laugh because they get happy if there cars get up to like 80mph with advance auto plastic spinner hubcaps and a spoiler longer then the length or there cars litterly screwed right into there trunk
around my way the stupid little hondas run 9s, research hiboost on utube. and alot of speed shops around my way show up to the spot with 9 sec hondas. i wont mention names of them, but my guy and my crew at rotech proformance are coming out hard this season!!

no no no no, there is a difference. when you talk about hondas like that then there is nothing stupid about it. i did not mean anything bad about hondas when people actually do it right. i ment the people in like 94 hatchbacks with the monster wing and stickers with a watermellon shooter exhaust tip with a duck taped window and a hood emblem of a transformer. that to me is pethetic. i give you props, not the wannabees. the hondas doing 9 are impressive. i see alot on speed channel. its actually entertaining!
