actu talking abt the rear wing? an that thing is crazy.. i got lucky and was able to work as a firefighter/emt for nascar garage in pocono, diver and talladega, that wing its brought out by nascar installed by nascar they put tamper proof stickers over the screws and then after the race they come and remove the wings and put them away.. so noone can tamper with them.. its pretty cool how they do things there.. man those guys are real hotrodders..

nice blow offs! pretty! lol looks good!! how fast u runnin roughly..
the top pic is min and the bottom pic is of my team mates. he runs 10s i have to test my car in a month or so. my friend is running a 20 valve on a toyota corolla, boosted!! im running a sentra turbo i ordered a sneaky pete to run a little nitrous. maybe a 50 shot thru the intercooler piping maybe 2 fogger, both far from the intake manifold so i dont break the engine

no no no no, there is a difference. when you talk about hondas like that then there is nothing stupid about it. i did not mean anything bad about hondas when people actually do it right. i ment the people in like 94 hatchbacks with the monster wing and stickers with a watermellon shooter exhaust tip with a duck taped window and a hood emblem of a transformer. that to me is pethetic. i give you props, not the wannabees. the hondas doing 9 are impressive. i see alot on speed channel. its actually entertaining!
oh i dont like hondas!!! im into nissans.

duct tape make you go faster.. just ask anyone in nascar! lololol
the duct tape is actually for the hood and lights and so the wind doesnt take the corner lights and since the raise the hoods with washers so the wind doesnt hold them back... i dont do it cuz its a waste of 3 dollars and time. by the time u get ur car taped up ur on ur way to jail, u get some dudes that will show up to a race with slicks, tape and hemets and then u see them pulled over waiting for the tow dolly cuz they broke on the line. that is embarrassing!!

yep i did. but inm not looking to make my intercooler colder, im looking to inject it thru the intercooler piping. more power to make a lower time!!!!

i was talking abt the intercooler piping.. actually the nozzle goes right infront of the throttle plate..im very familar with nos systems, actually i love the ZEX systems best!.. but i use the NOS bottle warmer works better

i was kidding abt the duct tape, and it does help with aero fixes at 160+ mph so i cant see that holding them back.. bc air still flows under the hood from the lower valence inder the bumper thru the engin compartment and if the air doesnt have a place to get out it wil create lift therefore slowing you down..air around the lights.. these guys are only in the 10s(yes its fast) but its not outlaw street or ultra quick 8s none of them tape their lights.. i think its overkill and a waste of time..

Motor I have decided to make the engine in the 81 a 383 stroker. Gonna pull the motor soon, strip it down and take the block to the machine shop so he can bore it out. Also thinking of replacing the 4 speed manual with a 6 speed from a Z06. I have done some research and with some very small mods it will hook up and work fine. The Z06 drivetrain is kinda of oppositte of the 81's. The newer vettes have alot of the tranny stuff located in the rear to help add weight to the back.

yup....when i did my 383 (385 actually bc its .040 over) i think theyre the best out there, they can screem with 6.0 in rods or 6.2in and get a ton of hp at the upper range or if u save money and go with stock5.7 rods youll have a lower powerband.. make sure to align bore it with torque plates.. thats the biggest issue with going stroker.. make sure u deck the block.. and if you wanna do it right have it blueprinted which make the angle of the 90 degree v8 a true 90 degree oposition to each other in reality they are between 87-92 degrees causing excessive side skirt load causing scratches on the outer wall of the cycinder causining a shorter lifespan and lower cylinder pressures over time..also have the block fly cut for clearance of the larger rods with studs, increase u decide to go with them.. i prefer full floating wrist pins..less drag and the total seal rings.. if you need any help with the build im always up for a good engine teardown and build!..

Maybe Motor when the time comes. I usually build them with my stepfather, he races at Wall Raceway every year. Sometimes we rebuild the motor a few times each race season.
