Jarrett, those puppies are adorable!!! Do you breed them, or are you just madly inlove with the breed?

Bruce, Akira is beautiful! How is her temperment? My akita was a serious wacko.;( Had him since the day he was born so I know he was never abused in any way, but there was something seriously wrong with him. He was the most aggressive dog I ever had...

I did bread them but very hard work in the first 2months(its a full time Job)and expensive$$$$
I had 6 puppies but lost 2 due to not breating at berth. they sell for alot of money but not worth it in the end.

She is beautiful and the most loveable dog. Everyone that meets her loves her to death. She is very protective of us but no so much that people get scared. For example if someone new walks into the house she does watch the person but once I shake his/her hand she sits back down and eventually falls back asleep, she was well worth the money I paid for her. One thing I will say is I have to be careful when I havbe her around other dogs. I take her to the leashless dog park here is Philly and she loves it, but I do need to watch her just in case, generally the Akita breed are not good around other dogs.

Totally disagree with you, my Dog was expensive and has brought nothing but joy to my family, friends, and anyone else who meets her.

Bruce, you seem to have a good one. My female was a good dog (someone stole her out of our yard). Her male pup on the other hand was horrible. He was a gorgeous white brindle saddle with a huge head that everyone loved, and tried to get me to sell him to them. But turned into a total nightmare by the time he turned one. The only person he respected was me, and even that changed one day.;( I tried everything within my power to keep him, but in the end the saddest day in my life was when he turned on me as well, and I was given no choice, but to have him put down.;(

Bruce, I think Jarrett is talking about the breeding is not worth it.

Moliken, he is beautiful! I actually mean that as I had never seen a Bully that I found in the least bit attractive. But your's, wow, he has actually given me a new outlook on his breed!!! What a great ambassador he is!!!!

I know I still miss my boxer Bailey marki- Was forced to put her to sleep on April 4th, last year. NOTHING will ever replace her- refuse to even consider another dog still at this point. Need to give her the respect of not just moving right along after.
