When my male rottie died, and we had to put the female down 6 months later I swore I would not get another dog. Cause it was so painfull to out live another of my beloved ones. That resolve only lasted a few short months. I just couldn't bare the house without a dog. So I began researching the next dog, and decided on the Pitties beacause of their wonderful qualities. Had I just allowed the media, and the ignorance to tell about these dogs I never would have even looked in their direction.
