soon to be 5 bux or so ,,,then gos down from 5 to 4 bux and we are still screwed

speaking of saving gas I just saw the people evacuating texas, the highway is at a standstill and some people are pushing their cars to save gas. what a mess.

my 200 gal would cost about $600 today and I can sell it for $1200 monday.

i didnt go that far, my idea proves i'm jewish, but i think your calculations make you a Rabbi.

Got a reef tank now for 2 yrs and still cant find a way to actually make a POSITIVE cash flow off it. I'm still in the "one day, it will be growing like crazy and i can make millions selling frags" phase.

p.s. with winter around the corner, heating is also going to be expensive this year - return your chillers guys, you wont need it when you set your thermostat to 50 to save on heating costs.

Jon, i totaled up the electric costs for my tank in a prior post (that is the hardest part) supplies is just a matter of adding up you credit card bill (easy if you use quicken like i do and just make a category for "Aquarium"

heating costs this winter should be very cheap - a wool blanket, that is all you'll be able to afford - that or you can start burning your wood furniture for heat.
