There is a certain # that you could dial right after he calls(I think is *57) and the phone company will keep a log of the # which will be proof of the calls even if its an unregistered #.I think you could call the phone company for more info about this.

It may sound like a good idea for Leslie to post the #, and then everyone call him, but you don't know what type of sicko this guy is. It could push him over the edge. It's better to let the police handle it and lock out his phone #, hopefully he'll just go away.

Call your phone provider as well with the Police Number handy. I used to work for one of the larger VoIP providers and we did not block phone numbers, however if you called with a Police Report # we handled things differently.

It's always a good idea to invest in some personal protection just incase he decides to show up. Even pepper spray can atleast buy you enough time to get away. My little sister carried pepper spray with her at college and she ended up having to use it one night. 2 guys accosted her in the dorm hallway outside her room, drunk or high on something and after she warned them once she gave them each a burst. Both were still rolling on the ground screaming when public safety showed up. Always better to over estimate the nut jobs and be prepared.

Seriously, a detective called within 24 hours of me filing the report. He is going to contact the weirdo and ask him to stop calling me.

Thanks for the advice Chief. I feel pretty proud of myself for actually doing something about this instead of just putting up with it. I think going to the police station was scarier than the phone calls! I was really afraid they would think I am a big baby. But, they took everything very seriously and didn't act like my little complaint in a world of murderers was a big hassle.

I would TOTALLY do that with you. Very practical and a good workout too. I took kick boxing classes for a little while with the same thought in mind (not Taebo style).

Here's a tip, If someone is bothering you and you need help scream "FIRE" as loud as you can.

Why?

Statistics prove that when people scream police very few if any people pay attention because it is called out too often and people don't take it seriously for the most part.

But by yelling fire 98% of people will stop what they are doing and turn to look and most often times will help and call for help.
