I need an AT&T Smartphone. Which do you recommend?

they don't make cellphones (as tough) like they used to. i had a nokia (10 yrs ago?) that got ran over by a snowboard and buried in the snow for a couple of hours, ran over with the car, and even left out on the lawn with the sprinkler going for awhile. it survived all those incidents. the saltwater tank was what "done it in!"

Actually I have a speck case, which is a case very tightly wrapped around the phone, and if you were to drop it, the vibrations are absorbed by the tight cushion seal. Awesome case

as per the on going reminders of the condition of my recently retired phone, I think i have no choice but to go with an Otterbox if i go the route of getting a Note. I'm half a barbarian with electronics.

Even my laptop gets too dangerously close to my tanks. I need a Sig Sauer version of a Tuffbook and a smartphone. Those things get ran over by tanks and ground-up against mud and rock and they still work.

I'm telling you, my phone went thru hell and back and is still somehwhat useable. So what that I have the flip the phone sideways to hit certain letters and back to upright to hit other letters when texting and whatnot because of the cracks in the screen interferring with the calibration of the touchscreen?

Yeah but I think paying $600 for a phone makes me a bigger tool. I'm glad they gave me an early upgrade.

I wouldn't be surprised if you had that exact same system intalled in your daily driver or every throne in the house =)

Only issue is the size. The gs3 is larger than I really wanted but not much more to choose from.

In your case when you are working you won't beer able to just put it in your pocket

Ha a holster. You mean a man-bag. Honestly look at the GS3. If I stop on Sunday you can look at mine. I have otter box case for it with belt clip. It is not one of the huge cases , it works out nice to put on belt.
