Please NO iPhones!!! Sorry but I just don't like them. Screens are too small and they don't automatically fit the text to your screen like androids do.
The best phone I ever had was a Verion Motorola Droid but as much as I loved the service, I didn't like the lack of customer service. I had a Verizon Sumsung Fascinate and it was horrible compared to the Droid.
Now I have AT&T and my first phone was an HTC Inspire with was about an 8.5 out of 10 as compared to the ease and convenience of using a Moto Droid. This phone didn't work too well after taking a few dives into my tanks and dropping it a couple dozen times too many. Some of you couldn't get in touch with me the phone was so messed up.
So, I twisted AT&T's arm and they finally gave me an early upgrade and I went with the HTC One X. It's a gorgeous phone and I love almost every feature about it but sometimes it won't present the pop-up touchscreen keyboard. They also for some reason didn't think it was necessary to have a "menu" button any longer like the Inspire did and for some crazier reason they made it so you have to touch the phone a number of different ways depending on what mode your in to get the "menu" touch button to pop up somewhere on the screen. It's like playing Super Mario Bros and trying find a hidden prize except in this case the "menu" button pops up.
They also put the charger port on the side as opposed to the bottom like it used to be. I used to be able to talk on the phone while it was charging and now because the port is on the side, it interferes with holding it properly and more important it isn't comfortable to hold it while not putting pressure on the charger jack.
One MR member that I know has the Sumsung Note AKA backpack sized Flatscreen TV. =) Being that I didn't like the Samsung Fascinate i'm not sure this is a better fit. The size of the phone doesn't bother me but I'm wondering if anyone else has it and how they feel about it compared to other smartphones that they've had. I'm sure battery life on it is pretty bad to power that huge screen too.
Any other suggestions? I have about 3 weeks to turn this one in for another one before I'm locked in to this HTC One X that I'm not to crazy about?
Thanks in advance for your input!
