Fishman. I always was going to get a second, but with the heavy losses due to the c section of the 1 litter and Martina having a nturally small litter I didn't think there would be 2 available. When I went there to meet the pups for the first time at the end of April, an impatient guy backed out so I had my choice of the brindles since me and the breeder hit it off so well. We were out at a steakhouse for dinner and they decided to offer me a second . Oh yes I'll have my hands full but will be awesome!!! I am hiring a professional trainer since there will be 2. One I'd be able to train no biggie but figured a helping hand with techniques for 2 at a time will be a good idea. The place I'm going with Best Friends Dog Training will be doing the training with me at my home and you pay a one time price for the lifetime package. For the life of the dog you have access to their puppy college, then the one on one at home, then anytime you want for the life of the dogs you can go to their group classes they give and they will help you with whatever you need.


LOL Tom. I'm sure I'll take a couple of spills with them running like maniacs hehe.

The place I'm going with Best Friends Dog Training

i wonder if they're a franchise. i think the place my buddy boards his dogs when going on vacations and have their training classes is call best friends petcare/training/kennel.....or something like that. i had to pick them up a couple of times....very nice place.

Best Friends Training has a excellent reputation and great success with there dogs. Two of my neighbors had there dogs trained by best friends one of them has a standard poodle and walks him with no leash around the neighborhood. They have some impressive youtube videos as well....

Also there is another one called Five Star Kennels in uniondale I believe that is really good as well. I brought my first dog there and they did a great job with him. I like Best Friends because they come to you..

Same here. I think I'll achieve the best results with them being trained in a familiar atmosphere in their own home

8 days until pickup...............................CAN'T WAIT!!! Suspense is killing me.

Breeder called Ruby was at the vet today for her second round of shots, weighed in at 16 1/2LBS!!!!!! I remember only 5 weeks ago holding her and she weighed under 7. MAN they grow too fast!!

So the countdown continues- 8 days - 192 hours to go!! LOL

Yep lol they're both going to be big girls. Ruby(the brindle) was weighed at the vets when she got her second round of shots last Saturday--Ready? 16 1/2LBS at 8 weeks!!!!!
