yeah man.there was a LIPA truck right up the block from us doing work.they finished doing what they were doing and took off without coming down 100 ft and fixing our block..WTF

I have a small camping generator. it's good for a few pumps and heaters. Anyone nearby feel free to borrow it. You'll need to refill the gas every 3 hours though. It only has a small gas tank.

So we just had 2 guys down the block from my house just to evaluate the situation.seems like its a blown fuse and it will take 1 guy with a long stick to fix it.its a 5 minute job and we are looking at almost 6 days withou power.

everyday..well there was a crew of three trucks outside the house looking up and talking and they are now gone WTF

So after 148 hours on day 7 the iowa workers came back at 10:30 am and at 11 am power was restored
