i would trim the gasket.. if not look for an o-ring not a flat gasket. i have used both and things work fine i will find the size gasket i used on my friends....

a regular thing... they are branching right? if so when they form new heads they are weak at the end. sometimes a fish or just a good shot of current will knock them off and whamo..... floating frogspawn.....

ditto on mr.x ! mine is a no name, with a no name two canister DI unit. works like a champ. 100gpd output. zero tds.... the thing rocks

definitely go for the bigger one.

those honda gens are cool. they have an eco throttle. if you do not need the max load, then the things adjusts the throttle for fuel conservation. i have two of them. i link them together. i got almost 10hrs on a tank the last outage i had..... on 6/10 of a gallon. that is outstanding!

The skimmer man is here! :) I would probably go with the G3. the octos are a pain to mod. the G3 works on a proven design and you can get parts when you need them. both skimmers were designed to undercut ER. so knowing this. ASM has been doing it longer. G3 or get a BM250 like trido did...
