In the past week I have seen a few the tips of my frogspawn floating around in the tank. Is this something I should be worried about ? Or is this normal.
In general the frogspawn looks healthy.
Thanks !

Do you have a clown trying to host in it? If so, It may be biting the tips in an effort to change its own slime coat to match the coral in order to not be stung.

i've had that happen too, on a certain frog. i think it's the way it spawns now colonies. mine wasn't stressed by anything, but dripped pieces off every month or so. i saw one in my overflow alive...but with such dim light, i don't think it lasted long.

a regular thing...

they are branching right? if so when they form new heads they are weak at the end. sometimes a fish or just a good shot of current will knock them off and whamo..... floating frogspawn.....

I've found that they come loose after they have stung something. They stick to whatever and the coral retracts, leaving bits floating around.
