Thanks guys, its just really hard to lift my head up after this one. It's not even my house which kinda sucks even more...

And that tree is a tree in their front yard bent over from all the snow we had. only 3 days ago you were able to see it. It's just still decorated from winter

I know it probably doesnt seem like it now, but if you quit smoking after this your gonna look back on it as the best thing that ever happened to you. Im in a constant fight with cigarettes. I had quit for a long time and still had the urge pretty much everyday to smoke, had a rough day at work one day and bought a pack and fell off the wagon for a couple months, back on the patch now. Just dont ever forget how sh@#$^ it was that this happened and blame cigarettes for it. keep that picture on you and when you think about lighting up chew a piece of gum and look at that picture for a while and see if you still wanna smoke.

It is deffinitely a sign that you are meant to quit smoking. The damage has been done to the house. But you can stop the damage that smoking has been doing to your lungs. Take this incident as a sign! Happy everyone's safe!

Hey i hope her parents house insurance can take care of this but like everyone said the main thing is that everyone is fine and it could have been worse someone could have died or the whole house could have burned down. I know how it is to leave in a house with the girlfriends parents because i rent an apartment in there house and i hope they are not to mad at you. Also bro cigarettes are expensive and kill you slowly I hope you can kick the habit.

Yea Jonny they did make them burn out quicker I have no idea how the hell this could have happened seriously it had to catch something else on fire maybe a piece of paper or something then that blew next to the house? I duno man fires don't start like that especially outside on a windy day. It's very strange..maybe there is an arsonist on the loose lol

Hey Ry, if this was something you did intentionally then you are to blame. What you did was an accident, otherwise they would rename it 'a planned event'.

Most people have mortgages on their homes. Not everyone, but most. When you have a mortgage you are REQUIRED to have homeowners insurance to at least cover the banks investment (their mortgage). Therefore, if they make a monthly mtg payment you can bet the ranch they have homeowners insurance too. I don't see how this can't be covered.
Yes, there will be some inconvenience for everyone, but these things happen and like so many before me have said, this could have been SO MUCH WORSE.

Keep your head up my friend and keep doing the honest, honorable things you're doing. And don't ever succumb to the lies that some suggest you embrace :banghead: Idiots
