Well today is day one. Honestly i have not even wanted to smoke all day because its just so depressing to think of it. I threw my pack out last night and kept the box for memories. So far so good
Thank you all for the concern. I do cherish the fact that no one was injured and very grateful for that, but the whole thing honestly should have never happened. Last night i got no sleep because i could not get it off my mind. My hands still today are black and all those clothing I took to my house had to be washed because it reeked of Sut. So that means every single outfit in the whole house is going to have to be washed. Blankets, beds, shoes. Jackets, shirts, pants, socks, everything. you can wipe a cloth anywhere in the house and black is picked up...its horrible.
Today is day one of repair. Fire marshals, the insurance people, an electrician, and a few others will be stopping by for questions and observations. Good thing is everything will be covered. From destroyed property to anything unwashable. The clean up crew should be coming shortly to start. They are doing a 100% clean up on the house. Washing the walls, cleaning the cloths, taking out everything that got burnt, ect. Then the insurance company should be starting hopefully soon tearing down the entire front of the house for a whole face lift.
My girlfriends parents are like family to me and they are not too upset over this incident. My girlfriend and i have been dating going on 6 years this year and they know accidents are accidents. All they said was if i wanted to continue living their, i have to quit smoking. That's fine, because I already stopped. I was very lucky. My future father in law tries to cheer me up when we are cleaning saying its ok because he wanted to change the front porch anyway and the windows that the firemen broke and ect. I try to laugh, but it just not time yet to. Once this is all said and done and i pull up home from work one day and see the house 100% complete and back to normal, that will be the relief day and i can take a breath...
I will be posting pics every day to show you the improvements if anyone cares. And that face in the window you guys are talking about...WTF?!? That is kinda creepy. I'm sure that picture will be framed and hung in the house...
Again thanks you all for the comments...
