Just to add...

I dont' think I'll ever use it again... it was good when I was learning/beginner but now I think patience really is a good solid route.

Right Now
INK ,
You have been a proud member of MR ,Doing great in reef keeping.Have more post then ppl that have been on the site for 2 years .Now you start to use short cuts.not good.
I have use a product of the same sort .(forgot the brand) They do work!!But when you are a beginner and know nada about the hobby.(I also had a FOWLR)
More off you would of have had a better chance getting cycled rock from someone who was breaking down there tank.
Now im going to have to look at all your post to see how many time you used the word "patience" and now this ,lol
wish you the best of luck with Right Now :banghead:

there are too many pretty bottles with more uses than i can think of for reef tanks, i don't think they sell it to help us, i think they sell it to make money.of course they probably do something, but nothing a little time can't do also. of all the time we all spend reefing, even the ones that tap out early, cycling is just a very small fraction of it.i don't have money for all the pretty bottles, and have learned that patience is the best way to go.i use pickling lime for my calcium and alk, when either needs a boost i whip out the baking soda or dow flake, i also use epsom salt for magnesium.i'm not the most dedicated reefer, YET, but i choose to stay away from the pretty bottles.
