MR fishing trip :)

Thanks to House for the idea I would like to plan a trip for us to get together, catch some BIG bass, and drink a few beers (except for you nano reefer )

Depending on the amount of people we get, I could either plan it with the charter boat "Karen Ann" or if the group exceeds his capacity we could do the trip on the larger boat that I work on.

My preference would be to keep the group around 8 people and fish the Karen Ann (you catch more, bigger fish). StingNYC and Psuedo Boy already came with me and will tell you that we catch big fish 20+ lbs.

Anyway, if you're interested post on this thread.
cost for the Karen Ann will be $65 per person for the day.

I am hoping to get the first fishing day of the year in this weekend. We fish out of the hamptons. Moriches Inlet to be specific.

I am in - since it is my idea, it is only fitting I go - keeping in mind a newborn comes May 20th, so let me know the time (night?) and the date. As long as I can plan, I'll be there - just not June 11th.

Crakuer, I work on a large party boat out of Sheepshead Bay. I am hoping to get the trip on the smaller charter boat because the fishing is much better. On the smaller boat we fish with live bunker for BIG striped bass.

BC, the $65 is just the fare for the boat, beer is extra


The time of the trip is very flexible. The best fishing trip would be a 5am -12pm trip, I would assume on a weekend would be best for everyone. We could also arrange a night trip........Let's see who's in first, then we'll decide on a date/time.

well, I do the fishing thing on my boat all summer so I will not be attending as I don't need you clowns tangling the lines as I am hauling in cows.

Good luck with the baby jackson, my second arrives 6/9 so I doubt I'll be seeing much time in the hamptons and, if I am there, fishing the days away won't be much of an option for me.
