hi Rich,
Glad you are working on Sheapsheadbay
PM me the name of the boat
cause I have a close friend of mine who has a yacht, probably you saw it . the yacht is on a front of chartering boards, I'm sailing and fishing in the summer time on the weekends
If its not a secret can you tell me the best spot to go fishing in a bay.
I can take you guys but sailing boat is slower than a power boat and cannot reach places which is far.

definitely good eating. when we get a cow (not that often) we bring it to one of 4 restaurants and they prepare a stellar dinner for us and sell the rest.

We've done that maybe 5 times in the past 10 years. All fish over 45 pounds with the biggest coming in aqt 63 inches and topping the scales at 63 pounds. that baby fed our group of 12 and still provided plenty of fish for the patrons of the restaurant.

LOL...funny pic Steve. I can't even see you behind that 13.5lb weakfish that you caught

Hey Vad, I work on the Capt Dave in sheepshead. In Jamica bay your best bet to catch big stripers would be to fish the JFK airport area. Really no specific place, I just chase down schools of breaking fish.

Nano, glad your parents are letting you go. If they are worried, have them call me up. I'll explain everything. I assure you the trip is 100% safe and the boat and captain is liscenced and experienced. The Charter boat is located on crossbay blvd (exit 17 belt pkwy)

Damn........ Crauker, 63lbs!!!! I haven't caught one that big yet. Awesome!!!

if you mean bait, clams and bunkers if i cant hook a stripper or a blues i think the next best thing is a fluke. They are fun to catch on the beach

We had a great trip yesterday on Rich's charter, we caught fish up to 25lbs. There were about 6 people on the boat and we came home with the limit of fish. Here are some pics from the trip:
