The fish are good. Pigs but good...they are all getting along so im relieved..woo hoo...hows your tank doing J?

I have not had much time to spend on it. the skimmer needs a good cleaning,
but stuff is still growing.
I got two new fish from spykes, a yellow tang and a hipo tang. they are buddies.
It only took a day for my scopas to get used to the idea of new tangs in the tank, he was pissed at first, he turned black, never saw that before.
no one would believe me if I told you how skinny spykes fish were, they are getting fat now. I named the yellow tang dave.

you can see a big difference already, spykes could not recognize them

my QT tank is another story, I never set up the MH I got from you, most of the frags turned brown, but on the plus side they grew a bunch. they will color up when they go back in the big tank.
pc lights = growth but no color.

heh i just filled the tank with water, lets just say im not happy with the flow, i need moreeeeee. the SCWD really lowed down the flow

did you fill the tank with salt water?

it will make a difference in the flow as well.

no just fresh water to test for leaks. i found the mag 7 flow is weak, and im gonna have to get the mag 9.5 and use the 7 for CLS.

Leaks suck, I know this first hand. Leavin the RO/DI running in your kitchen and forgetting about it for a few hours..i know that first hand tooo..

not a leak there man, it's from my plumbin on the tank. thank god it's fresh water and i can empty it without feeling sad hehe

Just finished the flooring in the basement. Next step is the moulding, paint - then its time to order the tank and build the stand

how big is the tank going to be?

While we have the capable guys on the board - is glasscages a good maker of tanks or would I be better off getting an oceanic? I am planing on a 72x30x36high....
