this is totally not the case.if the mods didnt do what they do there will be fights and on going nonsense on all the threads then this site will become a joke in the reef keeping hobby.sure some of the mods know more about the hobby then others which was hard to say 3 years ago but they are doing a fine job getting rid of ridiculousness that some people post.i was making it funny about one of the f/s threads yesterday burt i knew it was being deleted and wanted to see how long it would take.im not kissing up to them because one hates me and one gets real annoyed at me not going to mention her name LOL..who wants to have a real heated argument with someone and have to wonder what would happen if you met them at a swap.the mods try to difuse the situation by closing those threads.some sooner then others

I don't think the mods are the problem. The majority of them have a sense of humor and for the most part do what they're suppose to do. Of all the mods I can really think of only one that is too trigger happy. Compared to a lot of other forums, this forum is actually managed pretty well.

I vote we get rid of you! You have no idea what you are talking about in regards to admin/mods.




Thank you to all the mods...thank you for doing a thankless job and dealing with all the jokers that I would have banned a long time ago.
You deserve far better than people like above. I appreciate you all!

I can't say that the mods are the problem. I can only imagine that being a mod on a site of this size is a huge pain. I have been told that I am one of the problems with Manhattan Reefs, that I have too many posts that are meaningless and don't add to discussions, that I am constantly trying to be funny, that I post a ton of BS and more by a mod. Do I agree with that? Absolutely not. Even though I'm relatively new here I have been in the fishkeeping and marine hobby for about 15 years. I worked in an LFS and serviced tanks for them. Do I know everything? Not even close. Do I feel that I contribute to this community positivly? Absolutely. Do I begrudge the mod their opinion? Nope.

I have told the same mod that they do a good job and that we must try the mods patience all the time. I know we do. They all have families, jobs and lives outside of MR and do this because they love this hobby just like we do. They want to make MR the best site it can be and I think they are doing as good a job as can be expected.

Actually the board would be better without you here, then again you're a Stealth Vendor, who isn't allow to sell on the board. I guess you forget to included that in your little post. Oh by the way, when you learn what Freedom of Speech actually is then you can talk.

And where do you get stealth vendor from I can invite you to my house right now if your willing to drive 12 hours and show you I have only 1 tank with barley any coral in it. How's that for stealth vendoring. seems like I would really be making money there, and I actually protected you as a mod in a private message to the admin.

You know the post was a little over the top but in a PM with the admin I explained the 2 that I see stalk these forums and just have absolutely no sense of humor and penalize people for nothing and even others say stuff. I didn't mean all of the mods like stated in the post it's really just 2 of them that I see are a little "trigger happy" like you said.
